About a week ago I took myself down to Essex to visit my cousin MaryAnn. We met at Sloane Square station in Chelsea where we had a wander round the shops, and casually met Francis Boulle from 'Made in Chelsea'!
A few of my mum's friends have seen this photo and asked if he was my boyfriend, I wish! Ha ha.
Then we went to a lovely pizzeria that we have been to a couple of times before. We shared a pizza: I had 'Rucola e Pancetta' and my cousin had 'Prosciutto Fungi e Panna'. Both were delicious, but as is always the way I preferred hers!
After fuelling ourselves for the rest of the day we hopped on the short tube ride to Oxford Street where we spent the next couple of hours scouring Topshop! I thought I would treat myself to some new black boots: because no one can ever have too many pairs. They were a bargain at £38 too.

The long day travel from Wolverhampton and day in London had truly worn me out so a comfy sofa, loungewear and trash on TV was most welcome. The next day MaryAnn showed me the delights that Essex had to offer; Lakeside shopping centre was certainly a few notches up from the Mander Centre! As if we had not done enough shopping the day before we could not help ourselves exploring the shops.
In the evening we went for a night out with a couple of her friends. Coming from a town with very little nightlife, it was quite a difference.
My next blog post will be what I wore in London :-)
